The Selangor International Care Summit (SICS) 2025 is set to debut from 9–11 October 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre as part of the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2025. This inaugural event aims to position Selangor as a regional leader in the care economy by fostering innovation, strategic investment, and sustainable growth in healthcare, eldercare, and social enterprise sectors. 

SICS 2025 will feature a comprehensive program, including expert forums, panel discussions, and an exhibition with approximately 80 booths showcasing assistive technologies and care solutions. A notable highlight is a module conducted by a non-governmental organization, providing practical guidance to caregivers on reducing physical strain when handling bedridden patients. Additionally, university academics will present their latest research findings, contributing to evidence-based practices in the care sector. 

The summit is expected to attract a diverse audience, including policymakers, healthcare professionals, social enterprises, investors, and technology innovators. By facilitating collaboration among these stakeholders, SICS 2025 aims to bridge the gap between supply and demand in the care economy, promoting inclusive and high-quality care services. As part of the broader SIBS 2025, which anticipates 50,000 visitors and over 700 booths, SICS 2025 underscores Selangor’s commitment to advancing the care economy within the ASEAN region.
