About This Programme
Background
The care economy has emerged globally as a critical driver for social and economic progress, encompassing childcare, eldercare, healthcare, and workforce support services. With aging populations, shifting workforce dynamics, and increasing demands for inclusive economic policies, there is an urgent need to innovate care delivery models that are sustainable, technology-driven, and equitable.
Aligned with Rancangan Selangor Pertama (RS‑1) and the Selangor Care Economy Policy 2024–2030 — Selangor’s strategic roadmap for economic growth, social inclusivity and innovation‑led governance — the Selangor International Care Summit 2025 will unite government, industry and social‑enterprise leaders to shape scalable, tech‑enabled care models.
One of the Summit’s flagship events is the Selangor Care Forum, themed “Innovating Care: The Future of the Care Economy,” will feature plenary sessions, focused roundtables and an investment showcase will map pathways for expanding home and community based services, integrating digital innovations, and forging public private partnerships that drive inclusive economic growth.
